go kimoon! =D
haha kimoon rocks. ain't the right oon? better than ceejul anyway. =P heheh just kidding. although our name is a lot more prettiful, that's for sure. hahah..
anyways.. i changed the video to michelle branch - goodbye to you a while back. i love this song! it's one of the few songs i can still play on guitar without having to look at chords. it's like the first song i learnt on the guitar too i think. it's just so easy to play! haha... brings back memories of digjc camp 03. ahhhh i love memories.
well tonight was speech night. and i'm very, very, extremely tired. so i won't stay for long. i was in the city from about 11:30am but realised they didn't need singers till 2pm. so i went with alanna and nicky to shop for some black pants. which we didn't find. rehearsal went by, and i couldn't go with oonis and uel to see cj off at the airport cos i was still rehearsing in town hall. =( bye chaunji! i'll see u in malaysia! heheee.
anyway.. speech night was alright. the music wasn't up to scratch, i thought. cos it's usually pretty good. this time it wasn't so great because we the pieces weren't rehearsed that much. oh well. i got to do a solo - one line! it was great. hahah got to stand at the front with the seven other soloists with microphones on stands and everything.
oh and the last part was just the FUNNIEST. the last song was "zadok the priest". alanna was on my left and there was noone on my right. okay the song is like by handel and its one of those full choral, "hallelujah, hallelujah..." pieces. and there are these parts that just go "ah ah ah ah ah ah" with quaver rests in between. and they're all different notes. and we couldn't sing them properly at all (mostly alanna =P) so i fully cracked up laughing. oh my gosh i tried to stop.. like look away from alanna and look all serious. but i couldn't. i was like giggling.. oh it was so bad. speech night is a terribly serious and formal occasion. so it would've just looked SO out of place for us to be laughing during a song. but funny at the same time. =)
then when we finished the song. some of the guys on the other side of the stage were moving off, so me and alanna went off. but we HAD to cos we were laughing so hard. so some of the girls followed us off and apparently we were meant to stay on. but oh well. as soon as we got backstage, we burst out in laughter and tears... ohhhhh good times.
anyway i've rambled for too long now. goodnight!
