happy australia day!

i do agree that our beach day (and probably our first proper 'family' outing) was a great success! even though there were only seven of us it was still lots of fun! except that the sun bunrt me from behind the clouds. boooo.. but i'm okay, i'm just red and my skin hurts. look - we even got a FIRST CLASS AREA! (aka surf craft area)
this is of the girls looking for my thongs that the boys very nicely BURIED in the SAND over which they placed my TOWEL on top. grrrr. group photo time! aren't we just so patriotic? australiasians unite!oh and remember that pudding? here's where it went two nights later... can you spot it? and yes that is in fact someone's hand reaching out to put some on that plate you see next to the hand. hmmm... then a few rounds of mahjong and then kimpossible!sing it girl! oh yeaaaahhh. i'm your basic average girl and i'm here to save the world....
