sorry for the delay with posting, i was being...busy. and it took me a while to have the computer for long enough.
just for the sake of posting my beautiful photos from china. hehe.. well i think they're beautiful. =)
[26.12.05] day 1.. arrived in shanghai and had dinner with the fan's at the hotel.
he's the most adorable baby i know. he kisses everyone and everything, seriously!
so naturally, everyone wanted to hold him.

[27.12.05] day 2.. rather uneventful except for several hours of shopping. my goodness, it is SO difficult to just cross the road in shanghai! there are people everywhere and cars everwhere. it's crazy! my dad almost got run into by a bus coming around the corner. it was actually a REALLY funny moment. oh and this photo makes my dad look gangsta-ish. i love it. hahaha.
[28.12.05] day 3.. woke up late and flew to beijing. the moral of this day is: do not enter a unregistered taxi - EVER. cos you never know how it will turn out. trust me. for almost two hours i sat in that car thinking i might not last the night. argh it was awful. but it's all okay now. =) just don't get into one.
[29.12.05] day 4.. the big sightseeing tour:
first, the summer palace, which was a whole bunch of pretty old chinese buildings. the lakes were all ice!
second, the ming tombs, which was a bit of a letdown. we didn't even get to go inside one of them! =O
third, the GREAT WALL! it was rather large, i have to say. and COLD. but i had lots of layers on and it was quite a climb. the steps are all so small and steep.
[30.12.05] day 5.. temple of heaven and the forbidden city (below).
[31.12.05] day 6.. bargain shopping at this place called "ya show" or something. we're such hard bargainers so we bought heaps! it was pretty funny cos all the shopkeepers say the same things like "my friend i give you best price!" their english is funny. hehe.
well that ends my holiday to china. i hope you liked my panoramics.. they're a bit small, but i haven't figured out how to do them properly yet. maybe when i get home.
